These days mostly everything is a back and forth struggle because Aubree wants to do everything alone! Just to name a few: wash her hair, use the hairdryer, clothes off, clothes on, brush teeth, climb.....well, basically everything EXCEPT pottying!
Usually she gives up before an entire outfit is on OR I don't have time to wait for it to happen :)....not this morning! She was adamant she was going to do it - all the way! So I followed her, more or less to several rooms, as she wrestled with the clothes (and her hair-ha!) I offered to help, but.....

FINALLY, after wrestling with the clothes for some time, she decided that this part of her shirt..."it boke"
***LATER IN THE MORNING***
I was in the laundry room, and she had the back door opened talking to "Lak Lawg" (Black Dog). After sufficient time, I told her to close the door. I assumed when I heard the door slam that she was on this side of the door. I started talking to her and I didn't hear anything back, so I walked out of the laundry room and called her name and silence....which does not go well with the name "Aubree". I opened the back door and saw her taking off with Colby's tennis shoes which were by the back door!
Colby was gone with Al, so we had an early lunch and spent several needed hours outside today to soak up the nice sunshine!

I love it! The bed head is my personsl favorite. Macy was the same way. She has been dressing herself since she was 2 and loving every minute of it. I will have to post one of my favorite pictures of a day when I let her pick her outfit out and dress herself...hilarious. We also enjoyed the sunshine today.
