This is EVERY day...... it is usually the first thing they ask Al when he walks in the door every afternoon! It's funny to hear Aubree asking him with her lispy /s/...."wessle Daddy". When he isn't here, they make do without him!!

Christmas Morning & Night

After we opened presents Christmas morning, we headed to Al's daddy's house for lunch and then Mama/Daddy's that night.

Santa's big gift to Aubree - a Barbie Jeep! She started out calling it a truck and now calls it a house (that's what it sounds like anyway)! Her favorite part is opening the doors and climbing in and out..... it still hasn't gone outside yet, but she is going to be one upset cookie when it is gone from the living room!

Colby had been waiting on his Wii; that was the only thing he was concerned about! Here Al and Colby are reading Santa's letter to Colby letting him know that it was ready and waiting in the playroom!

Sands Family Christmas

Saturday night we had our Christmas get together with the Sands family. We ate sub sandwiches, crab stew, and desserts.....it was GOOD! Tammy was in charge of the stew, and that was the best part to me.... actually, I was in charge of the stew too (only to help pay the cost)! ....and bring crackers! For a while now, the great grandchildren have always drawn names to exchange a gift. The rule (which I love) is that the gift must be a book!
AC's gift from Dawson was FANCY NANCY!!!

Colby has taken a sudden interest in football, so Emi knew just what she was doing when she gave him a football book.... he loves it!

Christmas Events

Colby had his Christmas program at school yesterday, so I took off the morning from school to see him sing!

He has enjoyed all the activities, but between all the singing at church and school, Colby said he was "tired of singing" :)

After the program was complete, I signed him out so he could go back to the babysitter with me and visit with friends. Mrs. Wanna was having the kids' party yesterday, and Colby was sooo excited that he was getting to go!
When I got to the party after school yesterday, AC was having a fine time with her cake and ice cream!

Colby was particularly excited about going to Mrs. Wanna's because Lane was taking the entire day off to come stay with Mrs. Wanna so he was waiting when C walked through the door.
Aubree and John McLean....they are more like siblings because they fight just them! :) Look how cute they are though!!!

Mrs. Wanna is soooo good to the kids and everyone had a great time!!! I can't believe how unbelievably blessed we have been!
