Straight up....

Mama's cuties!
I liked that they looked Christmas(y) today, so I got a picture before heading out this morning. While we were eating last night, AC started fussing and Al told her that we were taking her back to Wal-Mart.... Colby said, "Can I ride with you?" :) Maybe you had to be there, but it was good for a chuckle!

Count your blessings

name them one by one
Count your blessings

Count your blessings

name them one by one

count your many blessings
see what God hath done!!!

The Result

After a period of time with any given toy

AC can make a new use for it! She got a girly little kitchen from her Tia last year for Christmas.. and slowly, but surely, she has managed to turn it into....

He Does Exist!

This post was requested by my CITY friend because of her envy of country life (ha).....and because she was beginning to wonder if Al still existed :)

Al didn't have any luck at all last season but this weekend he was able to nab this 6 pt (155 pounder) for the contest at work!!! Guess what will be coming to our freezer???

Since the weather was mild today, I decided to get some pictures for Christmas cards at Mama/Daddy's. Here are just a few....

Just Beachy!

How in the world did we get a view of the ocean and sit on the sand with seagulls on a Thursday morning??

We went to the doctor, of course!! For nearly three weeks, we have been sinking in a sea of snot (eeeew, I don't like that word)! I know Colby and Aubree are miserable and I've done EVERYTHING I could to try and get it to clear up! I did even attempt to take Colby to a doctor last weekend because he is proned to bronchitis, but there were no meds for us that day!

So, five days later we go to the local doctor carrying full blown bronchitis....anyway, there is no better word than MEDICINE today!!

This was probably the better part of my day..... once I got home this afternoon, in a whirlwind, it became "a day"! I'll spare you the woe is me story and just say hopefully everything will go more according to plan tomorrow :) Since it is sooooo late, I'm off to bed in case Colby needs to snuggle. He and Al swapped beds tonight, and Colby was so excited when he knew he was going to sleep in the bed with me. He flung his arms around my waist and said if he woke up scared we could snuggle! :)

Destination where??

Terrible Twoville!! I'm thinking that is about where we are arriving.....AC has become pretty strong willed on what she wants and does whatever (very loudly) in an attempt to get it. Colby tries often to write on his board, but it drives her crazy because I won't let her get a marker (thank goodness for Magic Eraser)! Since she couldn't write yesterday, AC said NO ONE WILL!

Compared to how most siblings would be with a baby getting on their nerves, Colby is extremely patient with her. He hasn't attempted to hurt her..... yet :) He just tries AGAIN!

Out of frustration for Colby's perseverance, Aubree decided to lash out by giving a smack in the head!! At this point, a little camera break was needed :) Colby just eventually gave up and watched T.V. so she moved on to something else too.........ummmm like refusing to eat the meal I actually cooked because she wanted yogurt instead!! Nope.... YOU don't eat, I don't give you yogurt! SHE DIDN'T AND I DIDN'T EITHER! Oh, what fun!

It's about that time.....

You know that bath pictures are some of my absolute favorite!! These are the kind that I don't have to work myself crazy trying to get a decent picture :) Since it has been a short while since I've shared some of my clean cutie, I thought it was....

Christmas to Remember...

I found these pictures from Colby's first Christmas. Tammy and I took the boys to McCurdy's for a photo shoot in an attempt to get a cute Christmas card. Since the kids were 10 months, 1 year, and 2 years old, Tammy begged a friend to come and take some snaps while we managed the children (couldn't afford to pay for a pricey breakable there)! They were all coordinating... isn't that cute! :)

Look at that smile! He was the smiley(est) kid ever.... that one pearly white was something to be proud of!! At that moment in time, I thought that was a chaotic, made me sweat photo shoot...... in hind sight, it was a piece of cake!! He was just as content, and it wasn't like he could walk around to destroy the path he walked. Every one of the pictures were just this sweet (to me anyway). See what I mean???

Little did I know what would be in store for me in a few short years!!! Here is our Aubree Cate's first Christmas pose with the same smiley boy

This is just random, but I love it and wanted to add it while talking about Christmas. This was Colby's 3-year-old Santa picture and my, oh, my!! I was less than a month from my due date with AC and Colby had agreed this entire ride to Statesboro that it was going to be the first year he didn't shed tears in Santa's face. I had it figured out - walk right up to Santa with no wait, click the camera, get his prize, and go get something to eat!! Well, it happened like that mostly but it took MUCH more time than planned and with MUCH more drama! AC could have made her appearance at Santa's feet that night! Once we walked up there, Colby had a change of heart, but I didn't! I told him that we drove all that way for a picture and that is what we were getting (close out if you think that I shouldn't have butted heads, and it was traumatizing to him). Anyway, after a loud fit and attempts at reasoning, he is up there, but not going to sit in his lap or even look at him!!! I'm kneeled down right in front of him out of camera shot, holding him against that chair!! Ready photographer???? Snatch hand away and snap!!! He wasn't scarred for life and he took his prize from Santa so we could be on our merry way! It did turn out to be one of my favorites, because WHAT A STORY!

Oh, not this afternoon! They both had their day! I had to post these pictures to remind me of their sweetness :)

Tomorrow is a new day!!
