Merry Christmas from Pre-K!

Shepherd Boy

Colby and Dawson had parts as Shepherds in the children's Christmas program at church while Thomas was a king. The actual program turned out way better than I imagined based on the dress rehearsal a few days prior!!! Aubree played her part well by waiting in the nursery......

Naughty or Nice?

A little bit of both most definitely......they are ready and waiting in their holiday pajamas!

One of Aubree's sources of entertainment is to crawl under the dining room table and under all the chairs............well, she decided that she was going to go under the little wooden chair in their playroom! Needless to say, she was good and flustered by the time she freed herself from that predicament!

Spreading Thanksgiving Cheer!

The Pre-K classes took a mini field trip to the nursing home to sing Thanksgiving songs for the residents and give each of them a holiday picture that was colored just for them!

Colby Goes Bowling!

Last weekend Colby had the opportunity to go on his first bowling trip. To celebrate cousin Mandell's birthday, some of Al's family got together for a night of pizza and bowling. Thank you Hudson's for the invite - we had lots of fun!

Brother & Sister

Colby was attempting to have a little posing time with his sister, but she isn't usually willing to participate in anything that involves some still time!

Pumpkin Patch

Colby and Daddy went on the Pre-K field trip to the Pumpkin Patch last week. According to them, it was loads of fun! They went on a hayride, visited animals, fed fish, had a duck race, walked through a corn maze, played on the fun playground....and brought a pumpkin home of course. Colby has requested that it be turned into a pumpkin pie (which I don't even think he eats)! He doesn't realize what he has asked of me, so he might have to stick with a jack-o-lantern, and we will pass the other request on to someone more qualified!

Wizards End With 7-1 Season!

After seven wins and one loss (final game), Colby's first soccer season has come to an end. When the last game was completed, each player received the traditional certificate and trophy. Afterwards, the teams were provided with pizza to enjoy!

He was proud of the trophy.....

Our First School Project....

I, I mean WE, completed our first Pre-K project! As a Halloween activity, an outline of Colby's body (scarecrow) was sent home to decorate. We were told it could be decorated as something of interest to the child, such as a superhero or a hobby......we chose a swimming Colby! It wore a white T-shirt with swimming pictures glued to the front, swim trunks, swimmies, and the most beautiful flip-flops constructed from foam paper. Did I, I mean WE, do good??

Go Wizards!

Around the second day of practice, Colby was thinking it was too hot and tiring to run after a ball that he had little opportunity to kick! Since games have started and he was given a jersey, the color purple has rejuvinated his enthusiasm........
